The reality of this transmission line is bringing me to the brink of despair as I listen to the wind howl at 40MPH+ while thinking about how naked and defenseless our farmsite will be without our 37 year old windbreak. A farmsite that we have beautified and nutured for decades. I can’t even express how dumbfounded I am that utility companies can do this to landowners. Reading the ROW and Easement fact sheet makes me feel totally defenseless and vulnerable. I guess this isn’t really a free country after all.
